Legacy Sports Announces the Addition of a New Riflescope Line to Their Popular Nikko Stirling® Scope Lineup (Sept. 19, 2011)
Legacy Sports announces the addition of a new riflescope line to their popular Nikko Stirling® scope lineup. Nikko Stirling has introduced a totally new Targetmaster™ series that includes features sought after by tactical and competitive target shooters, alike.
Available in four variable power models, the Targetmaster series features a 30mm tube made of aircraft grade aluminum. The 30mm body provides added strength and light gathering over scopes with a one inch body. Japanese-made lenses are coated with Microlux ETE , allowing for maximum light transmission to pick up the target quicker and with greater contrast. The adjustment turrets are target style, allowing for easy setting adjustment. Just pull out and turn! Push down again to lock. And, the Targetmaster also allows you to re-zero your scope without special tools - a function needed for quick windage and elevation adjustments on the bench or in the field.
All Targetmaster scopes feature side parallax and focus adjustments. Also located on the side is a switch to activate illumination of the reticle. Fast focus eye pieces allow for custom adjustment to suit your individual eye strength. Available with Mil Dot reticle.

The New Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger™ from Howa! (Jul. 18, 2011)
Howa is now equipping each barreled action with the new Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger system (HACT) that eliminates trigger creep and lightens trigger pull. The HACT system fits all Howa M-1500 rifles that were previously equipped with Howa’s three position safety trigger group.
The HACT assembly is a completely redesigned trigger and sear unit that actually creates a two-stage trigger. This allows the shooter to take up trigger creep before squeezing through to touch off the round. HACT allows for a lighter let-off of between 2.5 and 3.8 lbs, eliminating trigger jerk – or pulling off the shot because the trigger pull is too heavy.
The HACT trigger from Howa will improve your accuracy with a crisper, cleaner and lighter trigger pull. This will give you better groups and . . . cleaner harvests!

These grip panels look great and are strategically placed to give you the wet weather grip you need to control your shot. Escort shotguns also have SMART Valve™ gas pistons that regulate gas blowback to cycle every round – from 2.75 inch range loads through 3.5 inch heavy magnums. Escorts also have FAST™ loading systems that allow one-handed round changes without changing aiming position. Adding Realtree Max4™ and AP™ camo patterns make these shotguns invisible in the field. We are also offering a HiVis MagniSight™ fiber optic, magnetic sight to enhance sight acquisition in low light conditions. Also included is a Hevi•Shot MR waterfowl extended choke tube to round out the perfect hunting machine. Finally, these shotguns are available in Left-Handed models at no extra charge! | LSI’s President and CEO Gene Lumsden, a life-long shooter, member of the U.S. Army Shooting Team (1967-69) and member of the CA Trapshooting Hall of Fame, presenting this check at the 29th Annual HOAG Hospital Charity Shoot |
Legacy Sports International, Reno, NV proudly announces it’s second straight year of support of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and injured U.S. Service members. Last year, LSI donated $20,000.00 to WWP from the sales of a commemorative Puma M-92 lever action rifle bearing the WWP logo, the United States flag and the inscription “Never Forget” all laser etched on these rifles.
This year, Legacy Sports continues supporting U.S. service men and women, and the Wounded Warrior Project by sponsoring a shooting team of wounded warriors at the 29th Annual HOAG Charity Shoot with a donation of $5,000.00. Mr. Lumsden also shot with this team, made up of veterans of the Global War on Terror.
Continuing its support of WWP, Legacy Sports has again designed a commemorative firearm for 2010 in a richly etched Citadel M-1911-A1, and includes special, commemorative packaging. For each gun sold, $25.00 will be donated to WWP to support our returning wounded veterans. According to Mr. Lumsden, LSI hopes to sell enough of these pistols, to raise $25,000.00 for WWP this year.
