Citadel Cerakote 1911’s
Gene Lumsden, CEO of Legacy Sports International, Inc. proudly announces the addition of Cerakote® coating to the Citadel line of M1911 pistols. Called Citadel Cerakotes, these pistols are both great looking and functional. Cerakote coatings are a thin ceramic coating that provides tough protection against scratches, rust and dings. Another benefit is that the Cerakote coating reduces friction between mating surfaces, allowing for a smoother cycling action of the slide against the frame.
Citadel Cerakote 1911’s come with a number of features not found on other pistols in this price range. Available in Full Size or Compact, all Citadel Cerakote pistols feature a slide stop with grooves, flared ejection port, skeletonized trigger and hammer, beveled magazine well, grip safety and extended beavertail. Full size models also feature a five (5) inch barrel with full length guide rod and extended, ambidextrous safety. The Compact model features a 3.5 inch bushingless barrel. Both models come with two magazines and are offered in .45acp and 9mm Parabellum.
Available in Black/OD Green with Hogue® Dymondwood™ grips, Pewter/Black with Hogue Dymondwood grips and Brushed/Black with Hogue rubber wrap-around grips. All include the original wood grip panels in the box. All Citadel Cerakote Model 1911 pistols are coated by Reno Cerakote and Hydrographics, another company owned by Gene Lumsden and his business partners.
